Behind every show is a whole lot of people who love this work.Actors, directors, designers, board members, volunteers, ushers, and the folks who stay late to strike the set. Every one of these photos started with somebody deciding to show up.That’s the whole thing. That’s how a theatre company lasts forty-four years in Portland.Swipe through. You’ll probably see somebody you know. Then come be in the next one.***#PassinArt #BlackTheatre #PortlandOregon #AlbinaArtsCenter #CommunityTheatre

This is what happens when you hand a kid a stage. Our summer campers took on William Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST: A Tropical Romance, adapted by Don Wilson Glenn, and built the ship to go with it. 🚢 That ship is still on display in the gallery at The Old Church Concert Hall. Camp may be over, but what these young people made is still standing.📸: JACQUE ***#PassinArt #TheatreInDiaspora #TheTempest #BlackTheatre #PortlandTheatre
